They are then transitioned into a two month After Care phase which includes life skills, benefits assistance and housing placement assistance. HITOP is open to new participants every 4 months (December, April and August). Please call the number below for specific dates.
Homeless individuals with co-occurring (substance abuse and mental health) disorder may be eligible for our program.
To find out if you are eligible for the program you can call or walk into HOP Drop in Center for an interview and eligibility check.
If we think you may be a good fit for the program, we will place you in housing while you complete alcohol and drug, mental health and life skills assessment. You will also need to interview with staff before finally being accepted into HITOP. If we decide otherwise, we will help you transition to another program or housing opportunity.
HITOP works with several community base housing providers to house our program participants. Participants are housed in a sober living environment for 4 months during the intensive portion of treatment and are assisted with housing placement during the After Care Phase.
